Mission
The mission of the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation is to advance research for more treatments and ultimately a cure; to promote awareness and education; and to support the needs and well being of affected individuals and families.
 


Gene Reviews of Dopa Responsive Dystonia includes information on DRD including average age of onset, disease characteristics, diagnosing and testing, clinical descriptions, neurochemistry, etc.
 


Objectives: Educate health professionals about movement disorders and their clinical management, Develop resources and comprehensive educational materials about movement disorders for the world healthcare community, Assist professionals and patients in establishing and maintaining support groups.
 


Information on the drug, Sinemet, which is used for treatment of Dopa Responsive Dystonia.
 


The PND Association is a non-profit, voluntary organization, dedicated to helping children and families who are affected by a disease of neurotransmitter metabolism.
